With Messi's gifts, Paris regains victories against Toulouse

Paris Saint-Germain regained the memor

of victories by defeating its host Toulouse (3-0), Wednesday evening, in the fifth round of the French League.

The Paris trio, Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappe and Juan Bernat, scored in the 38th, 50th and 90th minutes, to make up for the defending champion's stumble in the last round with a 1-1 draw with Monaco.

The Paris giant raised its score to 13 points, equal with Marseille and Lens in the lead, while Toulouse's balance stuck at 5 points in thirteenth place.

The match began with an attacking rush by both teams from the first minutes, as Messi and Mbappe almost scored after only 80 seconds of a double chance that was pushed away by the Toulouse goalkeeper and his defense line.

Not only did the owners of the land watch, but Donnarumma was subjected to serious tests by the attacking duo Dalinga and Zakaria Abu Khalil.

Maxime Dube, goalkeeper Toulouse, starred in 3 saves against Messi and Mbappe, while (Leo) hit a cunning ball next to the post.

PSG translated its superiority with a goal approved by video technology after a distinguished team work, started by Verratti, passing by Messi, and Neymar finished it with a wonderful touch in the net.

In the last seconds of the first half, Messi hit hard from close range, but the Toulouse goalkeeper again prevented him from hitting the net.

The Paris giant did not give his rival a chance to take a breath, but rather hit him with a second goal early in the second half, scored by Mbappe, taking advantage of a new gift from Messi.

Leo continued to give gifts to his teammates with another chance that Neymar missed, and a third for Mbappe who hit the crossbar, before the referee indicated that there was an offside.

Venetia also hit a powerful ball, which was brilliantly saved by Toulouse goalkeeper, and left-back Nuno Mendes missed a surprisingly sure Parisian chance in front of goal.

In the 68th minute, Paris coach Christophe Galtier moved with two substitutions to revitalize the ranks, as Hugo Eketiki and Renato Sanchez replaced Neymar and Verratti.

Sergio Ramos was involved in a fatal mistake by returning the ball by mistake to the Toulouse striker, but Donnarumma saved the situation, maintaining a clean sheet.

Doby, the Toulouse goalkeeper, continued his brilliance, saving his team's goal by blocking two individual investigators in front of Mbappe and Eketiki.

In the last minutes, Ashraf Hakimi and Juan Bernat took the place of Lionel Messi and Nuno Mendes, and Bernat rewarded his coach by scoring a third goal after following up a powerful shot from Mbappe that was answered by the right post.
