Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti is close to moving and playing in the Italian league this season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the famous transfer expert, the deal to join Umtiti in the ranks of the Italian club Lecce is imminent.
He added that the deal has already been completed, as Samuel will leave Barcelona to join Lecce, for a season on loan until the summer of 2023.
He added that the French defender will fly to Italy this week, in order to conduct the necessary medical examinations before officially joining the Italian team.
Catalan club officials are seeking the departure of a number of team players during the next few days in order to make way for new deals to be registered and new players to sign.
